The Ramen Samurai subscription service brings subscribers a curated collection of 8 unique ramens each month, showcasing 5 distinct varieties, all shipped directly from Japan. Curated by Japanese operators, this service selects genuine, premium ramen from famous eateries throughout Japan. These ramens, exclusive to Japan, give subscribers access to uncommon and sought-after flavors. With a focus mainly on the globally beloved tonkotsu ramen, this selection caters to international tastes.

A key feature of our ramen subscription boxes is that we carefully select ramen that Japanese only change in Japan. Other ramen boxes are often Asian noodle boxes and therefore contain ramen from countries other than Japan, such as Korea, Thailand, and China. Our service, however, deals only with authentic Japanese ramen. Only Ramen Samurai offers high quality ramen.

You must check the notations on your ramen. However, these are written in Japanese and need to be translated. Therefore, we recommend using Google Lens to take a picture with your smart phone and translate it.

Subscriptions

Estimated Delivery Time for Ramen Samurai Box: The adventure of your box begins in Japan, with arrival times typically between 1-2 weeks following the dispatch date. Nonetheless, it's wise to anticipate up to 4 weeks due to possible delays from local customs or weather conditions. For shipments heading to the US, they are dispatched from Japan and directly handed over to USPS, generally reaching their destination in 1-2 weeks post-shipment. (It's common for there to be no tracking updates for the initial few business days after dispatch, as the package is on its way to USPS). Estimated Delivery for Ramen Samurai: Orders from Ramen Samurai are directly sent from Japan, reaching you approximately 4-6 business days after shipping. It's advisable to account for up to 2 weeks in case of delays caused by the carrier or adverse weather conditions. Regarding Potential Delays: Tracking information may be delayed during busy periods, such as the holiday season, as carriers handle a surge in packages. Your first delivery will include a limited number of original chopsticks and spoons. These are exclusively for eating ramen, so please use them carefully.

To update the default shipping address for your subscription

2. under "ManageSubscription," find the subscription you wish to change and select "Edit Plan Details

From there, select the "Shipping Address" tab and edit the shipping address.

Note: If you wish to change your shipping address after your subscription has been renewed and has not yet been shipped, please contact us to update your shipping address for your next Bokksu shipment. We cannot change your address after the shipment has been made.

Once a subscription has been purchased, it cannot be skipped.

Please cancel your subscription at least one day before the renewal date. All orders are processed in Japan Standard Time and orders are due at the end of each month. Also, the first day of each month is the delivery date.

For example, if you wish to cancel your order for the December transition, please complete the cancellation by 11:59 p.m. (Japan Standard Time) on November 30; if you cancel your order after midnight (Japan Standard Time) on December 1, it will be shipped in January as well.

We're glad to assist! We strive to ensure the boxes are well-protected to minimize damage during transit. However, occasionally, the handling by carriers might be less careful than desired. Our team will then verify the extent of the damage and assist you with a complimentary replacement, store credit, or a refund.

Billing

The initial charge occurs at the time you complete the checkout process. Subsequently, based on the payment plan you have chosen, your subscription will renew 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months after your initial purchase date.

Items purchased from Ramen Samurai are perishable and have a limited shelf life and cannot be returned or refunded. No returns will be accepted.

Subscription cancellations must be made prior to the renewal date. Once renewed, subscription fees are non-refundable.

In the unlikely event that you have not received your order more than 4 weeks after the ship date, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

Cancellation requests cannot be made through My Page.

To be eligible for a refund, you must notify us of the loss or missing item within 10 weeks of the shipment confirmation date.

However, your satisfaction is our priority, so please feel free to contact us if you have any problems.

Every country operates under its own set of laws and regulations regarding the receipt of international shipments. Should there be any customs or tax charges incurred, you are fully responsible for these costs. Ramen Samurai holds no accountability for any customs fees or taxes that may be levied upon delivery in your country. The imposition of customs tax is a decision made by your local authorities, and Ramen Samurai has no influence over whether you are subjected to import taxes.

Issues with Lost or Damaged Packages:

If you're notified by the postal service of a damaged or missing package, please forward us a photo of the notice. This allows us to quickly issue a replacement.

Final Delivery by Your National Postal Service:

For shipments via Japan Post, the final delivery within your country will be completed by your national postal service, such as the USPS in the United States.

Before placing your order, it's advisable to review any customs regulations that might impact your shipment, potentially leading to delays or complications.

All international shipments are subject to customs inspection, which could briefly delay the delivery of your items. Once your package is cleared by customs, it will be dispatched to your local post office for final delivery!

Be aware that shipments to the EU and other regions might necessitate extra details from you for customs clearance, such as your Passport Number or Tax ID, and you might need to pay a customs duty before your package is released.

Tracking

Although we would like to expedite the delivery of your package, we regret to inform you that we cannot influence any delays that may occur while your Bokksu is in transit!

Every international shipment must undergo a customs check. Upon reaching the destination country, your package will be inspected by customs. Unfortunately, we have no authority over the timing of the package's release. We recommend monitoring your tracking details to follow its progress and determine when it has been cleared!

If the status in the shipping tracking section shows "Retention," it means that the package is either undergoing inspection at customs, or it has been delivered but no one was available to receive it.

You (or the recipient) should have received a notice from the postal carrier detailing how to collect the package. If you haven't received this notice, it's possible that your package is still being inspected by customs, and you may need to wait a few days until the inspection is complete.

We also recommend contacting your local post office as soon as possible to resolve the issue.

Please understand that at Ramen Samurai, we are unable to control how long customs may hold your package or when it will clear customs.

If your tracking status reads: "Item arrival at the collection point for pick-up," it indicates that your package is available for collection at your nearest post office branch. We urge you to promptly get in touch with your local post office, or else your package may be returned to us!

Should your tracking display "Item Arrival At Collection Point," kindly proceed to your nearest post office without delay, bringing along your tracking number and a valid photo ID.

If you're unsure of the location of your local post office, we advise calling the helpline of your country's primary post office hub to find out where your package is awaiting collection.

Failing to collect your package within the specified period will result in its return to Japan.
